June 24-28th, 2020 (All 50+ to 60+ and 65+ Men play Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the 70+ & Up will play on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.  The 65+ and Up Women will also start on Wednesday.)

It is estimated that over100 teams from throughout the United States will be attending to compete for the World Cup in their division.

Ticket Prices: Admission to all venues is FREE.


No charge for parking, adequate parking is available at the parks.


Managers Meeting: A manager's meeting will be held on Thursday night, June 25, 2020 at 7:00PM.  Two members of each team are invited to the dinner meeting.  Managers check-in and receive tournament materials.  The meeting will be held at the Salem Senior Center, 110 Union Street,  Salem, Virginia (just a few blocks from the Moyer Softball Complex.)  The 70+ and 75+ and 80+ teams starting on Wednesday will have their managers meeting on Tuesday night at 7:00pm at TBD.

Team Check-in:

On preliminary game day the players will check-in at the ball park, senior  teams check-in together. Photo ID's (drivers license) are needed for the team/player check-in.

Tournament Seeding:

The tournament staff will place the teams in brackets and prepare the preliminary schedule which will be posted on the website approximately three days prior to the tournament. The preliminary game record will be used to seed your team into the double elimination finals. The exact format will depend on the number of teams in each division.

First Game: June 24th(70+,75+,80+ Men's and 65+, 70+, 75+, 80+ Women's), June 26th (50+,55+ 60+ Men's and Women's and 65+ Men's)the games may begin at 8:00AM at each venue for senior men's and women's teams. Most divisions will end on the third day, Friday or Sunday afternoon and the Awards Ceremony will immediately follow the final game. (Some smaller divisions could conclude on Saturday). The older teams will start later on Wednesday and conclude by Friday (Schedules will be determined later and depend on the number of entries in each division.)

Complete Online Entry and make the entry fee payment when entering or mail Entry Fee check for receipt prior to closing.  Divisions will close when the paid entries reach the field capacity.  The World Cup will close early.

Rosters Due: The ISSA Roster Form must be submitted online when entering (The Roster Waiver must be turned in at the Managers Meeting with original  player signatures.)  Players arriving late can sign at the check-in or prior to their first game as long as their name is on the roster.

Divisions of Play:

Teams will be placed in skill level divisions based on their ISSA Rating and verified by the tournament staff. Divisions are planned for AA, AAA,  Major and Major Plus in each age classification for men. Divisions could be combined for preliminary play but ALL teams will be given the opportunity to play for their rated division championship against similar rated teams. Competition will be included for senior Women's teams beginning at 40 and over and Men's Masters beginning at 40 and over. 


The entry fee for all Men's and Women's Teams is $550.00. Entry fee includes one-half dozen (6) softballs (teams hit their own ISSA ball).  


T-shirts and other apparel will be for sale at each venue. Other merchandise and equipment will also be available at the tournament.
