Tournament:

Mountaineer Classic, Masters and Senior Tournament  (www.seniorsoftball.org)

Date:

July 30th - 31th , 2011 (Saturday and Sunday, the number of participating teams may require some divisions to play late)  Managers Meeting is Friday night and all teams are expected to be represented.

Morgantown Softball Complex

Teams:

It is estimated that 20 to 30 teams from the region will be attending to compete for the Mountaineer Classic Championship in their division.

Ticket Prices: Admission to all venues is FREE.
 
Parking

No charge for parking, adequate parking is available at the parks.

 

Managers Meeting: A manager's meeting will be held on Friday night, July 29, 2011 at 7:00PM at the Holiday Inn Express, 605 Venture Drive, Morgantown, WV. Two members of each team are invited. Managers check-in and receive tournament materials.  
 
Team Check-in:

Saturday during preliminary play at the ball park, senior men's teams check-in together. Photo ID's (drivers license) are needed for the team check-in.

Tournament Seeding:

The tournament staff will place the teams in brackets and prepare the preliminary schedule which will be posted on the website approximately three days prior to the tournament. The preliminary game record will be used to seed your team into the double elimination finals. The exact format will depend on the number of teams in each division.

First Game: July 30th, the games will begin at 8:00AM on Saturday for some teams. Most divisions will end on Sunday afternoon and the Awards Ceremony will immediately follow the final game.

Deadline:

Complete Entry and mail Entry Fee by July 15, 2011
(Exceptions only for the benefit of the tournament)

Rosters Due: The ISSA Roster Form must be submitted by July 15 (roster must be turned in at or before the Managers Meeting with original player signatures.  Players arriving late can sign at the check-in or prior to their first game.)
 
Divisions of Play:

Teams will be placed in skill level divisions based on their ISSA Rating and verified by the tournament staff. 

Fees:

The entry fee for all classifications is $350.00.

Souvenirs:

T-shirts and other apparel may be for sale at the park.
