March 14 - 18.....50+, 55+, 60+ & 65+ play on Fri, Sat and Sun(3/16-18).....65+ Women, 70+ 75+ & 80+ play on Wed, Thur and Fri(3/14-16). 


9 Grand Park Fields at Market Commons and 4 Fields at the Carolina Forest Complex and 3 Fields at the South Strand Complex plus additional fields as necessary.

It is estimated that 60 to 80 teams from the USA will be attending to compete in The Myrtle Beach National Invitational Tournament in their division this year.  

Ticket Prices: Admission to all venues is FREE.


No charge for parking, adequate parking is available at the parks.

Managers Meeting:

The 50+ to 65+ Divisions will have a Managers Meeting on Thursday evening at 7:30pm. Managers check-in and receive tournament materials. The meeting will be at the Base Recreation Center, 800 Gabreski Drive, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.  (The Recreation Center is about two blocks from the Grand Park Softball Fields.)   

The 70+, 75+ and 80+ managers will meet at the Grand Park Complex on Wednesday morning one hour before their first scheduled game time. 

Team Check-in:

During preliminary play at the ball park, players check-in as a team at one convenient time.  Player photo ID's (drivers license) are needed for the team check-in.  Managers should bring the original copy of their roster with original player signatures to the team check-in.

Tournament Seeding:

The tournament staff will place the teams in brackets and prepare the preliminary schedule which will be posted on the website approximately three days prior to the tournament. The preliminary game record will be used to seed your team into the double elimination finals. The exact format will depend on the number of teams in each division.

First Game: Wednesday, March 14 for the 70+ and older men's and 65+ and older women's divisions and they will conclude on Friday. All other senior divisions will start Friday, March 16 and conculde on Sunday afternoon and the Awards Ceremony will immediately follow the final game.

Complete Online Entry early and then mail Entry Fee to the ISSA Office by February 14.  (exceptions only for the benefit of the tournament, entry in most divisions may be accepted until schedule making time.)

Rosters Due: A copy of the ISSA Roster Form should be submitted with the Entry Fee (Final roster must be turned in at  the Managers Meeting or the Team Check-in with original player signatures.)  Players arriving late can sign at the check-in or prior to their first game.)  This tournament will be played by 2018 ISSA Playing Rules. 

Divisions of Play:

Teams will be placed in skill level divisions based on their ISSA Rating and verified by the tournament staff. 


The entry fee for all classifications is $450.00.


T-shirts and other apparel may be for sale at the park.

Berths: Division winners receive a berth in the 2019 WTOC at Tampa, FL.
